Our Philosophy
About Us
It all started with our remainders of the pop-up artist book and the odd paintings from my personal art collection that I am ready to let go of in my dotage. When I say “our”, I refer to my dear friend, Sally Blakemore founder and principal of Arty Projects Studio, Ltd, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the paper engineer extraordinaire who constructed the pop-up book The Flameguard, my eclectic narrative poem. We are selling this magical book through this site at a price below the market value.
I wrote another little book entitled Pretend I’m a Pomegranate, it’s a collection of whimsical doozies—a paperback. You can get it on Amazon or buy it through this website, and I will sign it for you. Same retail price but I have to add shipping.
After adding all that to this website we quickly expanded the idea to include the resale of fine art pieces that became my favorites when I had the gallery in Santa Fe. As if that isn’t enough, I started some craft projects to sell at the Hanukah craft show in San Jose. Why not add those, we asked? They are artistic, clever, well-made, and affordable.
